It was a dark-dark night
But the heavenly stars made it bright


D moon ws up to itz full glory
Nd completed d scene as taken from a fairy-tale story


Der stood a girl, a princess or an angel i donot know
Nd wen d moonlite bathe her,she lukd as wite as snow


She had eyes, deeper dan d deepest sea
Nd lips red'er than wt a cherry cud ever imagine to be


The body which a nymph cud only crave for
She was an angel, now dt i think of her


Bt one thing which struck the mind of the mortal Me
Der ws sadness in her eyes which nobdy else cud see


I din know d reason, bt still held her hand

Joinin d army ws all I knew

D days passed and I became sad
Bcuz ppl thot joinin army nd serving d country ws bad


Nd wen I saw my mother, I realised she ws scare
Bt wen wid dose tremblin eyes she said do wt nobody wld dare


I stood up as I realised I ws right
Nd took a step to kill d enemy as I ws ready to fight


Joined d army, ws happy as a bee
From a lil boy became a man, nt dt everyone cud see


D day came nd i got stars on my shoulders
Nd ws now rearing to go and move those big boulders


War broke up, so started d fight
Protecting my country ws d only thng i knew ws right


Days hd passed, nd we had lost track of time
Killing now, dint seem to b a crime


Nvr will i ask y shld I be d one to die
Cuz dis is My Country, my luv and my pride


Time will cum, ppl will see
